I FLY LIKE PAPER GET HIGH LIKE PLANES

‘I fly like paper get high like planes’ is a sculptural installation by artist dawn ng that is composed of
hundreds of paper airplanes. the project is based on ng’s interest in the concept of home and the
associated feelings of nostalgia and the desire to leave. the identical paper airplanes emanate from
a single window, bursting out in a series of streams. ng’s intent is to visually and physically
overwhelm the viewer to recreate the powerful feelings she has for home.
